Results of the first phase

The results of the first phase of the intercomparison study have been reported in an article under revision in JAMES.

The results of DALES simulations can be downloaded here. The data are averaged over the tenth day of simulation and are provided as slab averages. For computational reasons the results of only a subset of cases are available (25 cases instead of 209). The cases that have not been simulated are included as missing data. Two files have been provided, corresponding to the two considered experiments: control-climate experiment (DALES_CTL.nc) and perturbed-climate experiment (DALES_PC.nc).

Six SCM versions of General Circulation Models participated to the first phase of the intercomparison study. The results are available in this website as 6-hourly averages. For each model two files have been provided for each experiment. The experiments are labelled as "CTL" for the control-climate experiment, "PC" for the perturbed-climate experiment. Moreover the label "SF" stands for stochastic forcing. Finally, the results are separated into scalars ("scal") and profiles ("prof"). In total 8 files are available for each model. For a complete description of the file names and content we refer to the description of the case (section 5).
